Shen Ming Lee
Shen Ming Lee is an author, entrepreneur, and ecosystem builder passionate about agrifood tech and social impact. Through her work, Shen aims to help support and build a more sustainable, connected, and innovative food future. She is the author of "Hungry For Disruption: How Tech Innovations Will Nourish 10 Billion By 2050"(Amazon #1 New Release), and previously worked to develop the agrifood innovation ecosystem through her work at Thought For Food, GROW by AgFunder, and FoodFutureCo. She most recently served as the Group Chief Marketing Officer of CRUST Group, a food tech startup on a mission to fight food waste. She is currently building a venture creating clean, tasty, and nutritious fungi-based whole-cut meat alternatives.
As a thought leader, Shen speaks about agrifood innovation at conferences and corporate events and serves on the Advisory Board of Thought For Food, a global innovation engine focused on engaging and investing in the next generation of innovators in food and agriculture.
A lover of all things gastronomy, Shen went to the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration to pursue her undergraduate studies. She grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and she loves to cook and bake, cycle, box, paint, and do yoga.
