Ten Innovative Companies Making Women’s Health a Priority

We all know that women are basically indestructible forces of nature, right? Whether we’re talking about longevity, overcoming illness, or coping with stress, women almost always have a greater capacity for survival than men. But women also face a particular set of challenges when it comes to their health. Hormone imbalances, menstrual wellness, and reproductive issues are just a few of the specific challenges that women face, and they are often ignored by medical science. In addition, women of color, trans, and low-income women are still much more likely to suffer from a lack of health care and resources. Just because women can handle more doesn’t mean they should, in particular when science, technology, and innovation have moved the needle so far forward in the fields of medicine and nutrition.

Fortunately, women’s health is finally attracting time, energy and investment from innovators and companies around the world. Startups are increasingly run by and for women, and they are addressing issues across the spectrum. These ten brands are just a few making a difference in the lives of women around the world, but with a market share that could reach $65 billion by 2027, they certainly won’t be the last.
