Alex Kopelyan

Alex is a Partner & Senior Director at IndieBio. He finds, funds, and advises scientific founders from all over the world from the early stages of their startup journey. IndieBio focuses on bio and deeptech companies across human and planetary health, and is one of the most active investors in food and agriculture.

Alex holds a PharmD (clinical pharmacy) from the University of Iowa. His focus is on how to orient our systems towards health and flourishing rather than symptom mitigation and management which starts with with global food production geared towards working with nature, circularity, and long term thinking.
