United Nations Food Systems Champion - Social Entrepreneur - Expert in Global Affairs & Sustainability –
Anne has been an expert in international policymaking for 20 years, notably in the areas of global affairs, sustainability, environment, and climate.
Based in New York, Paris, the Middle East and Africa, she has advised global leaders at the United Nations and other international organizations, working closely with governments, donors, business and civil society. Until 2019, she was Chief of Staff of the UN Environment Programme and a member of UNEP Executive Board where she led on all strategic and operational matters for the organization.
Now Anne continues her commitment for a more equitable and viable world as an entrepreneur. She advises business, investment firms and industry leaders, start-ups in the agri-food space, and foundations to promote sustainability and the transformation of every step of the value chain. She notably collaborates with Forward Fooding and the Better World Fund.
Since May 2021, she has also been a United Nations Food Systems Champion, and is the President and co-founder of Chefs4thePlanet, an international network of prestigious chefs worldwide to advocate for sustainable food and gastronomy. https://www.chefs4theplanet.com
Anne is a huge food and wine enthusiast and is passionate about naturopathy, nutrition, yoga and sport. A mother of two, she holds a PhD in International Politics from the University of Oxford, UK.
