Aryenish Birdie

Aryenish Birdie is the founder of Encompass, a nonprofit working to build a more racially diverse and equitable food systems movement. Prior to Encompass, Aryenish was the research outreach and legislative policy manager at the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Hampshire College and her Master’s in Public Management from Johns Hopkins University. She is a Zoroastrian Parsi, a rare ethnic group of less than 120,000 people worldwide.
