Jaspreet Stamm

Jaspreet is the Innovative Finance Lead at the Crop Trust. In this role she is exploring new ways to mobilise public and private funding to support crop diversity. She brings 15+ years of experience in impact investing and development finance, including overseeing an impact fund at Finance in Motion, focused on sustainable agriculture and biodiversity conservation in sub-Saharan Africa. She previously worked on impact funds covering Latin America as well as the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to this, at the Inter-American Development Bank, she focused on providing credit lines for ‘green lending’ at private sector financial institutions. Jaspreet holds an MSc in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics.

Additional background: the Crop Trust is an international organisation established with support from the FAO and Bioversity International. It is focused on promoting long-term crop diversity, including providing financial and capacity building support to international and national seed banks.
